original print of the Gardiner Revere plate, mounted in a gilt frame
but easily removable for placement elsewhere in a collection. All
copies of the work are hand bound in red wrappers. The thirty-five
regular copies are printed on Neenah Laid paper.

Revere bookplates followed by a list of holdings of Revere plates and
a ranking of rarity of each one, ranging from no known copies
to thousands of examples!

Reproduced in the original size on fine paper, printed by the Stinehour Press
with the blue paper folder with paper label printed letterpress in an edition of 100 copies
by the Firefly Press of Boston. The woodcut on this page is by Edward Burne-Jones,
who made all the illustrations for the Chaucer, the monument of printing and high achievement
of William Morris' Kelmscott Press. Original leaves may sometimes be obtained
but they are extremely expensive and the book itself costs many tens of thousands of dollars.
This fine reproduction is an affordable alternative at $95 plus postage.
